Cancel Your Subscription
Learn how to cancel, pause, or downgrade your subscription.Before You Cancel
What Happens When You Cancel
- ✅ Access continues until end of billing period
- ✅ All data preserved for 30 days
- ✅ Exports available during grace period
- ❌ No new meetings can be recorded
- ❌ Auto-renewals stopped
- ❌ Team features disabled at period end
Cancellation Options
Option 1: Cancel Immediately
Stop billing now and lose access:- Settings → Subscription & Billing
- Click “Cancel Subscription”
- Choose “Cancel Immediately”
- Confirm cancellation
- Optional: Provide feedback
Option 2: Cancel at Period End
Access continues until billing cycle ends:- Settings → Subscription → Cancel
- Select “Cancel at end of billing period”
- Current period: Ends on [Date]
- Confirm cancellation
Option 3: Pause Subscription
Temporarily stop billing:- Settings → Subscription
- Click “Pause Subscription”
- Choose duration:
- 1 month
- 3 months
- 6 months
- Indefinite
- Confirm pause
During pause:
- No charges applied
- Data preserved
- Read-only access to existing meetings
- Cannot record new meetings
Option 4: Downgrade Plan
Switch to a lower tier:- Settings → Subscription
- Click “Change Plan”
- Select lower tier (Basic, Free, etc.)
- Review changes
- Confirm downgrade
Step-by-Step Cancellation
For Individual Plans
- Log into your account
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon)
- Select “Subscription & Billing”
- Scroll to “Manage Subscription”
- Click “Cancel Subscription”
- Choose cancellation option:
- Cancel now
- Cancel at period end
- Pause subscription
- Provide reason (optional but helpful)
- Confirm by clicking “Yes, Cancel”
For Team/Workspace Plans
Only workspace admins can cancel team subscriptions.
- Workspace Settings → Billing
- Click “Manage Team Subscription”
- Select “Cancel Subscription”
- Review impact:
- Number of team members affected
- Data that will be archived
- Features that will be disabled
- Notify team members (automatic)
- Confirm cancellation
For Enterprise Plans
Enterprise cancellations require coordination:- Contact your account manager
- Or email: enterprise@yourdomain.ai
- Provide:
- Organization name
- Account ID
- Cancellation date preference
- Migration needs (if any)
Data Export Before Cancellation
Export Your Data
Before canceling, export important content:- Dashboard → Settings → Data Export
- Click “Export All Data”
- Choose format:
- Complete archive (ZIP)
- Meetings only
- Transcripts only
- Action items and summaries
- Select date range (optional)
- Click “Start Export”
- Download when ready (email notification sent)

After Cancellation
Grace Period
30-day grace period after cancellation:- Read-only access: View all past meetings
- Download content: Export data freely
- Reactivate: Easy one-click reactivation

Reactivating Your Account
Changed your mind?- Log into account (during grace period)
- Banner appears: “Your subscription is canceled”
- Click “Reactivate Subscription”
- Choose plan
- Confirm reactivation
After Grace Period
After 30 days:- ❌ Account moves to free tier (if available)
- ❌ Or account deactivated
- ⚠️ Data scheduled for deletion in 60 days
- ✉️ Final export reminder sent

You may be eligible if:- Canceled within 14 days of initial purchase
